CID accepts KD 2,000 bribe to release a Syrian

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: An employee of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and a Syrian has been referred to the Public Prosecution, reports Al-Anba daily. This happened after the CID man allegedly accepted 2,000 dinars bribe to help release another Syrian who was in police custody who was arrested in a case of forgery. The daily said orders were issued to the military police to arrest the CID man and this proves the Ministry of Interior headed by Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali is in no mood to compromise law and that every person is dealt with one rule.
