Christie’s to auction Arab artworks in London

LONDON, Oct 21, (Agencies): Christie’s, the renowned British auction house, is gearing up to present 48 Arab artworks from the esteemed Dalloul art collection in London. The auction, aptly named “Marhala: Highlights from the Dalloul Collection,” is scheduled for November 9th at Christie’s headquarters.
This event promises to be an immersive journey, spanning the rich history of modern and contemporary Arab art from the 1930s to the 2010s. The Dalloul Collection, cultivated by the late visionary art collector Ramzi Dalloul and his wife, Saeda El-Husseini, and continued by their son, Basel Dalloul, is situated in Beirut.
Decades of exploration throughout the Arab region, coupled with their deep connections to artists, have shaped a collection that truly honors the diversity and cultural richness of Arab art.
