Chinese premier extends condolences to Thai PM over floods in southern Thailand

BEIJING, Dec 4, (Xinhua): Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Wednesday sent a message of condolence to Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul over the flooding in southern Thailand. In the message, Li said he learned that severe flooding had hit multiple regions in southern Thailand, causing heavy casualties and property losses.

Li mourned the fatal victims and extended sincere condolences to the bereaved families and those affected, voicing confidence that people in the stricken area are capable of overcoming the disaster and rebuilding their homeland soon under the strong leadership of the Thai government.
