BEIJING, April 24: China has reiterated a strong warning to its nationals in Iran, urging them to leave the country “as soon as possible” due to ongoing security risks following tensions linked to military actions involving the United States and Israel.
The Chinese Embassy in Iran said in a renewed advisory that citizens should avoid traveling to Iran for the time being, warning that the situation remains uncertain. It also called on those already in the country to heighten their safety awareness and take necessary precautions amid the evolving conditions.
According to the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the embassy issued another security alert on April 23, citing the “complex and volatile” environment and broader regional uncertainty. Chinese nationals currently in Iran have been urged to strengthen precautions and make arrangements to evacuate at the earliest opportunity.
