KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: The Acting Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Kuwait, Counselor Liu Xiang, praised the firm and just position of the Kuwaiti government and people on the Palestinian issue, praising the effective humanitarian measures taken by Kuwait, including the launch of Kuwaiti relief operations via an air bridge to transport humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and provide supplies. He believed that the main reason for the developments in the Palestinian situation so far is the long-term suspension of the Palestinian people’s right to establish their state, the long-term violation of the Palestinian people’s right to live, and the long-term neglect of the Palestinian people’s right to return, pointing out that the historical injustices that the Palestinian people suffer from cannot be To continue indefinitely.

Regarding his country’s position on the Gaza events, Chiang said: “China always stands on the side of fairness and justice, on the side of peace and international law, and on the side of the legitimate demands of the Arab and Islamic countries, and we support the Arab and Islamic countries in forming a common position and sending a unified voice.”
