Today’s focus is on dumplings, or jiaozi as they’re called in China. In China, there is a wide variety of jiaozi with different fillings such as beef, chicken, shrimp, or vegetables, and they come in various shapes. We felt that starting our event series by introducing jiaozi would be a perfect choice.”
To further allow Kuwait guests to enjoy the authentic flavors of Chinese dumplings, the Center also invited everyone to taste a dumpling banquet featuring different fillings and cooking methods. From boiled dumplings and steamed dumplings to pan-fried dumplings, the diverse types won great acclaim and admiration from the participants.

In addition, the event featured a lucky draw, dialogue sessions, and an exhibition of Chinese tableware. Through these engaging and interactive experiences, guests were able to get closer to Chinese culture. During the dialogue session, participants from different countries shared their own traditional autumn delicacies, further enhancing cultural exchange among nations. This Event is the first in the “Chinese Culinary Culture Month” event series.
It aims to build a bridge for cultural communication through the “taste of China” and to provide a platform for cultural exchange and mutual learning between Chinese and Kuwait people, further deepening local understanding of Chinese culture.
