China Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia, Voices Concern Over Escalating Conflict

BEIJING, Oct 12: China on Monday condemned recent Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, expressing serious concern over the escalating conflict between Riyadh and the Yemeni group.

“China condemns the attacks that caused heavy casualties and expresses serious concern over the intensification of the conflict,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said during a regular press briefing.

Beijing’s statement comes amid renewed Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, including strikes targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.

The attacks have heightened regional tensions, with Saudi Arabia and several countries condemning the strikes and calling for measures to protect civilians and critical infrastructure. (AFP)
