KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: The Criminal Court has set May 15, 2023, to look into the case of the Islamic education teacher who is charged with molesting children. The court, headed by Counselor Muhammad Al- Sanea, confronted the accused in his second case, where he was confronted by saying, ‘You are accused on June 6, 2022 of kidnapping the child (unnamed) and indecent assault, to which the defendant replied saying ‘Not true’. When asked about imprisonment pending other cases, he denied, and to another question he said there are no other cases against him.

Then he was told the Prosecution confirmed the existence of other cases against him and reminded him that in another case he has been sentenced to four months imprisonment; and when told that he was accused of other cases against him, he said he does not remember. It is noteworthy that the Criminal Court had previously issued a death sentence by hanging against the accused in the first of the 50 cases in which he is accused of kidnapping children and indecent assault.
