Child dies, two injured in 2 separate accidents

KUWAIT CITY, July 30: A vehicle accident on the 600 Expressway towards Umm Safaq resulted in the death of one minor and injuries to another. According to security sources, the vehicle overturned, causing injuries to both occupants. They were transported by Emergency Medical Services to Adan Hospital for treatment.

The hospital security personnel were later notified that one of the minors had died from his injuries, while the other remains hospitalized. In a separate incident, the Ministry of Interior’s Operations Room received a report two days ago about a hit-andrun accident involving a man in his forties in the Jahra market area. Patrols and paramedics immediately responded to the scene and found that an Arab expatriate had been struck by a vehicle driven by a Kuwaiti citizen, sustaining injuries and fractures. He was transported by ambulance to Jahra Hospital, while the driver was taken into custody.
