Chery and the Asian Para Spirit: Technology, Inclusion, and Long-Term Responsibility

AiMOGA robot Mornine delivered the world’s first AI-powered award ceremony.

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 25: Chery concluded its role as Official Partner and Exclusive Mobility Partner of the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG) in Dubai with a powerful display of technological innovation and deep social commitment. Throughout the Games, Chery served as both an enabler and companion, reinforcing its philosophy of “In somewhere, For somewhere, Be somewhere” through inclusive mobility, community support, and ESG initiatives.

From the opening moments, Chery made a strong impression. Its self-developed AiMOGA robot “Mornine” joined the Asian Paralympic Committee chairman in declaring the Games open, and later delivered the world’s first AI-powered award ceremony. Mornine flawlessly performed precision tasks such as grasping, moving, and presenting medals, demonstrating Chery’s advanced capabilities in robotics and automation. This ceremony became a highlight of the event and a showcase of how technology can elevate human-centered experiences.

Chery also acted as a guardian for athletes. Ahead of the Games, it donated sun protection supplies to all participants. During the competitions, the TIGGO family fleet provided comprehensive mobility support, including shuttle operations and escort services for four national teams. The vehicles’ comfort, spaciousness, efficient Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) system, and globally recognized safety structure offered athletes peace of mind throughout their journeys. This ensured they could focus solely on competing without logistical worries.

At the opening ceremony venue, Chery set up an engaging interactive booth that attracted athletes from across Asia. They explored the premium interior space of the TIGGO 9 and interacted with Mornine, gaining insights into the brand’s technological strengths and user-centered design philosophy.

The Games themselves became a powerful stage for athletes to showcase resilience, strategy, and determination. From navigating fast-paced offensive transitions to maintaining tactical precision and enduring physical strain, athletes demonstrated extraordinary willpower. The crowd’s continuous applause underscored the emotional impact of these performances and the universal respect for their journey of self-transcendence.

Chery’s decision to support the Asian Para Games is rooted in shared values. The event celebrates life, equality, respect, and social contribution—principles deeply embedded in Chery’s ESG strategy. For Chery, social responsibility is not an external obligation but an integrated part of its global operations. This alignment laid the groundwork for a meaningful and long-term partnership.

Supporting the Games also reflects Chery’s broader focus on the disabled community. Globally, 16% of people live with disabilities, and the Games provide visibility, recognition, and opportunity for this often-overlooked group. Chery has previously cooperated with the Kazakhstan Paralympic Committee and the Asian Paralympic Committee, reinforcing its commitment to inclusion through sports.

Beyond sports, Chery plays an active role in global development. With a presence in more than 120 countries and over 18.28 million users, Chery contributes to local economies and communities rather than merely exporting products. It has supported UNICEF in delivering educational opportunities to nearly 40 million young people, including 17 million affected by crises. With the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Chery advances environmental protection initiatives worldwide. These efforts underscore Chery’s mission to integrate responsibly into local ecosystems and generate long-term social value.

On the industrial level, Chery has established five national-level green factories and continues transitioning toward sustainable operations. It has launched a Global ESG Alliance with partners across the world, extending its environmental and social standards throughout its dealer network. This network connects enterprises, industry chains, and international organizations, forming a collaborative ecosystem driven by technology, inclusion, and shared responsibility.

As the AYPG closing ceremony fireworks faded, the spirit of “Born to Rise” endured. Chery’s ongoing mission is to use technology as an enabling force and responsibility as its guiding foundation. Beyond commercial expansion, Chery aims to help build an inclusive world that values courage, opportunity,y and human potential. Its long-term commitment, fueled by passion and aligned with global progress, continues shaping a future where innovation and responsibility rise together.
