KUWAIT CITY, May 28: MP Dr Khalil Abdullah Abul has asked the Minister of Health Sheikh Dr Basil Al-Sabah about the cause of crisis that forced hundreds of Egyptians issued Kuwaiti entry visas to gather at the premises of Kuwait Health Office in Cairo on the processing of their transactions, reports Al-Rai daily.

MP Abul wanted to know whether or not the ministry has stopped dealing with the national companies with regard to medical tests conducted for expatriates recruited abroad and the attendant damages. He cited the news item published in Al-Jarida newspaper (edition no. 14190) dated May 8, which reported that several Egyptians had lined up the road facing the Kuwaiti Health Office before they could embark on the journey to Kuwait due to medical test problem.

He reiterated the situation created a bad image for Kuwait abroad. It’s even more complicated since the Ministry of Health hasn’t revealed the causes or background of the confusion. He emphasized the importance of inquiring about the issue, considering the consultant at Kuwait’s Health Office is saying the issue has snowballed into a crisis.
