KUWAIT CITY, April 20: Chalets are considered an important destination for families and friends to spend quality time during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, reports Al-Qabas daily. Considering that the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holiday is long, many citizens and expatriates have opted to travel; hence, the availability of more chalets for this period.

Nevertheless, the demand for chalets is still high and there has been steady increase in rental fees. The one week rent for a chalet is KD1,500 and KD900 for three days. The chalet rental fees vary based on the location, proximity to the creek, number of rooms, and availability of a private swimming pool. Most tenants prefer daily cleaning service; in addition to proximity to various facilities, shopping centers, cafés, restaurants, mosque and recreational areas for children.
