KUWAIT CITY, Jun 5: During a recent visit to the Middle East, Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of the U.S. Central Command (United States Central Command), held meetings with senior officials across Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan, focusing on regional security cooperation and ongoing defense coordination efforts.
As part of his regional tour, Admiral Cooper also met with deployed U.S. military personnel, commending members of the armed forces for their service and recognizing those distinguished for exceptional performance. His visit included engagements aimed at reinforcing operational readiness and strengthening partnerships with allied forces in the region.
In addition, Admiral Cooper presided over the change of command ceremony for U.S. Army Central (USARCENT), marking a formal transition of leadership within one of the key components of U.S. Army operations in the Middle East. The visit underscored continued U.S. commitment to regional stability and collaboration with partner nations.
