CBSE Issues Alternative Assessment Scheme for Class XII Results, Including Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 27: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued Notification-2 dated March 27, 2026, outlining an alternative assessment scheme for the declaration of Class XII results for students in West Asian countries, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The notification comes amid disruptions to the examination schedule in the region due to prevailing conditions, with the Board earlier cancelling or postponing multiple papers. Under the revised framework, results for affected students will be prepared through an alternative evaluation mechanism, details of which will be communicated to schools and stakeholders.

CBSE stated that the scheme aims to ensure fairness and continuity in academic assessment for students impacted across affiliated schools in the region.
