KUWAIT CITY, May 3: An official document revealed that the State Audit Bureau (SAB) has not recorded any violation committed by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) in the last six years – from 2014/2015 to 2019/2020, reports Annahar daily. The daily obtained a copy of the document, which indicated minor comments recorded by SAB such as the procedural aspects in the daily work framework.

The document affirmed that CBK responded to these comments on time — immediately after studying the comments and taking measures to address them. CBK affirmed its commitment to continuously develop and strengthen its internal control systems for all of its activities – financial, operational or administrative fields in auditing and fi- nancial control systems that include detailed work policies, procedures and integrated automated systems which ensure the separation of powers and responsibilities.
