KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: An elderly woman was caught in the act of trying to smuggle her son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren in a vehicle through the Salmi border, reports Al-Anba Daily. Salmi border officers got suspicious when they noticed a four-wheel drive vehicle driven by an elderly woman. When they searched the vehicle, the officers were surprised to find the above-mentioned individuals hidden in the vehicle. Initial investigations revealed that these individuals tried to relocate here from a neighboring country, but they failed due to a lack of documents. The elderly woman is now detained at Salmi Police Station in preparation for her referral to the Public Prosecution, while the persons she tried to smuggle were ordered to return to the neighboring country through Al-Raqi border.
