According to the statistics, the number of incoming non-criminal cases reached 11,800, with partial commercial civil cases accounting for 27.8 percent of the total, while bankruptcy cases recorded the lowest share at just 0.01 percent. Pending cases numbered 51,164, with partial commercial civil cases representing the largest portion at 25.9 percent, and bankruptcy cases again at the lowest percentage. Resolved cases totaled 20,528, with partial commercial civil cases comprising 26.8 percent, while bankruptcy cases remained at 0.01 percent.
The overall completion rate for noncriminal cases reached approximately 40.1 percent, with fee exemption cases achieving the highest rate at 99.5 percent, compared to the lowest completion rate of 26.4 percent for sales cases. In the distribution of non-criminal cases by court, the Capital Court received the largest share of incoming cases at 58.2 percent, followed by Ahmadi at 13.6 percent, Hawally at 12.4 percent, Farwaniya at 10.7 percent, and Jahra at 5 percent.
The Financial Markets Court recorded the lowest share at 0.2 percent. The Capital Court also led in both pending cases with 64.7 percent and adjudicated cases with 63.6 percent. Regarding completion rates, Hawally Court ranked first at 42.6 percent, followed by Ahmadi at 42.2 percent, Farwaniya at 39.9 percent, Jahra at 39.7 percent, the Capital Court at 39.5 percent, and the Financial Markets Court at 31.7 percent.
Regarding criminal cases, the number of incoming cases reached 17,754. Misdemeanors accounted for the largest share at 70.1 percent, followed by appealed misdemeanors at 27 percent, and felonies at 2.9 percent. Pending criminal cases totaled 50,889, with misdemeanors representing 82.2 percent, appealed misdemeanors 15 percent, and felonies 2.8 percent. Adjudicated cases numbered 25,623, comprising 76.9 percent misdemeanors, 20.7 percent appealed misdemeanors, and 2.4 percent felonies.
