CAPT logs 915 transactions in April

KUWAIT CITY, May 6: The Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) presented a summary of its Board of Directors meetings in April -- a total of 11 meetings attended by 952 representatives of 56 entities, with a cumulative attendance time of 79 hours. CAPT revealed that 915 transactions were completed last month as follows: 64 complaints and grievances, 16 registrations, 136 direct contracting procedures, 77 tenders issued, 120 bid openings, 51 summonses, 119 recommendations, eight penalties imposed, five extension/change orders, 85 extension orders, 10 change orders, 139 initial guarantees and 74 publications, with zero implementation failure.
