KUWAIT CITY, July 3: The Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) announced the extension of the date for submitting bids for the draft study and detailed design works and preparation of documents for the tender related to first phase of the railway project to August 1, and the closing date for the practice of radical maintenance of road works in Ahmadi Governorate to July 3, reports Aljarida daily. The agency urged the Ministry of Public Works to submit its technical and financial recommendations regarding price quotations for the practice of constructing and completing a sewer in West Abdullah Al-Mubarak area for draining rainwater.

CAPT referred the request of the Ministry of Public Works to award the tender for the construction, completion, furnishing and maintenance of plot No. 3 for parking lots, taxiways and service buildings for the new T2 passenger terminal at Kuwait International Airport, to Limak, the fifth lowest priced company, with a total amount of KD 236 million. The request has been sent to the technical sector, so that it can give its recommendation in the next meeting.
