Canar Holding holds Inter-Company Badminton Tournament

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11: Canar Holding on the sideline of the FBC 100th tournament opened its 2018 Inter-Company Badminton Tournament at the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club in Hawally.  It was participated in by employees across its group, including Canar Trading & Contracting Company, IMCO Engineering & Construction Company and MASS Consultants & Services Company.  It was officiated by the Filipino Badminton Committee (FBC).

The players and the organizing committee were inspired with the presence of IMCO’s Projects Group Executive Manager,  Abdulkarim El-Mahmoud, and with his motivational message expressing gladness to see the employees gathered with a common goal of enhancing camaraderie through sports.  Abdulkarim and Filipino Badminton Committee Founder and Chairman Dr Chie Umandap made the official toss to formally start the tournament.

The players took the Oath of Sportsmanship and declared to perform in fair play to respect the rules and the other players, to enjoy and have fun.

The tournament was participated in by 30 players, competing in Doubles for three sessions.  Final matches will be on Aug 31.
