KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: The employees of the Accident Department at Jahra Hospital informed the Operations Unit at the Ministry of Interior that a person of bedoun arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound in his stomach, and that his health condition was stable after undergoing surgery to extract the bullet. A security source revealed that upon receiving the report, the security men rushed to the hospital and listened to the testimony of the injured person’s brothers who took him to the hospital.


They stated that they were exposed to gunfire while they were in their camping site in Subiya, and that one of the bullets hit their brother and the other bullets hit the tent where they were sitting. The security and forensic officers inspected the camp and found traces of bullets believed to be from a powerful air rifle. The officers informed the deputy public prosecutor who ordered the registration of an attempted murder case and investigations are ongoing to identify the suspect/s.
