Campaign against begging to continue during Ramadan – 6 beggars arrested

KUWAIT CITY, March 30: The Ministry of Interior has intensified its security campaign against begging phenomena especially during the holy month of Ramadan. In a week’s time 21 beggars of different nationalities were arrested.

Six beggars were arrested yesterday and the campaign will continue. MOI has called upon Kuwaitis and expats to call on 112 and report cases of begging in-order to make Kuwait a better place.
