KUWAIT CITY, March 24: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has reiterated its call for the Council of Ministers to allow public sector employees to convert their unused leave days into cash, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting a reliable source. The source told the daily that the CSC previously asked the Council of Ministers regarding the amendment of the decree on the civil service system to allow the employees of government agencies to cash their leave balance. The source pointed out that most State employees, especially the medical staff, were asked to cancel their vacations during the corona pandemic; hence, it is in their interest to allow them to convert their unused leave days into cash.
