On this occasion, the Cabinet wished the nation everlasting security, stability, welfare and prosperity. The Cabinet also congratulated His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince and the Kuwait Handball Association on the national team’s qualification for the World Handball Cup in Germany in 2027. It underlined this qualification as the fruit of great support and care given by the political leadership to the country’s sports sector.
Meanwhile, Minister of Education Sayed Al-Tabtabaei made a visual presentation on the results of the 2025-2026 school year, including an analytical reading of the educational performance indicators, comparison with previous years and the stable education system amid essential reforms and changes. The Cabinet, then, welcomed the official visit to be paid by President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin to Kuwait on Sunday (February 1), hoping that it would contribute to promoting relations between Kuwait and the Swiss body and opening wider horizons of cooperation. The ministers also voiced deep thanks and appreciation to Kuwaiti citizens and companies for their bountiful contributions to the building, rebuilding and maintenance of several mosques in the country. Finally, the Cabinet mourned the death of the Ministry of Interior’s General Department of Correctional Institutions’ Sergeant Mohammad Saad Al-Hajri due to wounds he sustained while he was on duty, expressing sincere condolences and solace to his family.
