KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: In a continued push to streamline government performance and accelerate vital national projects, Minister of Public Works and Chairperson of the Cabinet’s Public Services Committee, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, announced that the committee has reviewed the latest procedural updates on several major initiatives across the country.

Speaking after chairing the committee’s meeting on Sunday at Seif Palace, Dr. Al-Mashaan told KUNA that members were briefed on the most significant short- and long-term executive plans presented by various concerned government bodies. The meeting brought together ministers, senior committee members, and high-ranking officials from relevant agencies.

Dr. Al-Mashaan underscored the importance of unifying efforts and boosting interagency coordination to fulfill the directives of the political leadership. These directives aim to raise government efficiency and quicken the pace of project execution, especially in the technical and service-oriented sectors.

The committee holds weekly meetings to track implementation progress, examine proposals, and thoroughly discuss recommendations from the relevant bodies, she added.

Dr. Al-Mashaan noted that these initiatives are intended to upgrade the public services system and improve the quality and execution of state-led projects.
