KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN), in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, shut down a butcher shop in Shuwaikh Industrial for mislabeling the origin of frozen sheep carcasses, with legal action taken against the establishment. PAFN reported that the shop was cutting New Zealand meat and repackaging it in boxes labeled as Australian products in an attempt to mislead consumers. Inspections uncovered multiple serious violations, including the sale of meat unfit for human consumption due to altered natural properties.
