He stated, "With the excellent cooperation from the club management and the game staff, and overcoming all obstacles, Burgan is well-positioned to seriously contend for one of the top three spots in the league and cup."

Habib added that Japanese professional Yasuhira and Croatian Stipe have been signed, strengthening the team significantly. The contracts of goalkeeper Mohamed Boyais and Ahmed Mazal have been renewed and new additions include Salman Al-Shamali, Fawaz Abdel-Hadi, and the return of Ali Al-Badr after a season-long hiatus due to personal reasons. Combined with a talented group of local players, Burgan has the potential to perform at high levels this season.

Habib expressed his sincere gratitude to the club management and the game staff for their trust and for appointing him to lead the first team in the upcoming season. He emphasized his commitment to working with the technical staff and players to achieve an honorable performance in local tournaments. Notably, Hussein Habib has previously coached the handball teams at Al-Arabi, Sulaibkhat, and Al-Qadisiya clubs.
