KUWAIT CITY, June 15 (KUNA): Kuwait’s Burgan Club booked its place in the final of the 28th Asian Men’s Club Handball Championship, currently hosted in Kuwait, after a dramatic 32-31 victory over Qatar’s Al Duhail in the semi-final on Monday.

Backed by a strong home crowd at the Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Sports Complex, Burgan produced a remarkable comeback to reach the Asian final for the first time in its history. Al Duhail led 16-14 at half-time, but Burgan responded with a powerful second-half display to overturn the deficit and secure a famous win.

Despite the defeat, Al Duhail’s Mustafa Heiba was named Man of the Match. The championship final is set for June 17.
