Kuwait City, 7 Oct: Continuing its role in supporting Kuwait’s star athletes Burgan Bank celebrated Kuwaiti track and field Olympian, Yaqoub Al-Youha’s impressive win at the 19^th Asian Games taking place in Hangzhou. The young runner walked away with the gold medal in the 110m hurdles race after clocking in a time of 13.41 seconds, earning Kuwait’s second gold in the games and his first. The Bank's sponsorship of Al-Youha, along with several other Olympians and world-acclaimed athletes, comes as part of its comprehensive social responsibility program. This program aims to contribute to the growth of the sports culture in Kuwait and the overall development of the community.

Striving to compete in the upcoming Olympics, the five Olympian hopefuls have close to 30 gold, silver, and bronze medals between them in different championships, achieving momentous feats at numerous regional and international competitions.
