Bubyan Bank, Kuwait Credit Bank notch up tourney wins – Luiz, Carvajal among stars for Dream Match

KUWAIT CITY, June 10: The organizing committee of the Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Roudhan Ramadan Indoor Football Tournament declared in a press release that the first Dream Match will be on the 9th of Ramadan.

The defender for the French club Paris Saint-Germain and vice captain for the Brazilian national team David Luiz and the Emirati professional footballer and attacking midfielder for UAE Arabian Gulf League Club Al-Ain and the UAE national football team Omar Abdulrahman Al-Amoodi, also known as Amoory will play the match along with a number of talented Kuwaiti players.

The organizing committee affirmed that the series of Dream matches will be held on the sidelines of the competition and will contain many surprises. Previously, the committee had announced the participation of the former Italian professional footballer Paulo Maldini and the Spanish professional footballer for Real Madrid Club and right-back player of Spanish national team Dani Carvajal. This is the second consecutive year that Dream matches are being held on the sidelines of the competition, following its great success last year.

The fourth day of the tournament witnessed some great matches with Bubyan Bank team defeating Al-Zamel Rehabilitation Center team with three goals to none, the Kuwait Credit Bank team defeating Al-Arabi team with a score of 5-1 and the team of doctorno.com defeating Aafour team with a score of 3-0.

The team of Bubyan Bank controlled the game from the start with two goals scored by the Brazilian footballer Lucas and the third goal by another Brazilian footballer Louis. Director of Bubyan Bank was present at the match to show his support for his team

Player Ahmad Abdulqader, Nasser Al-Qallaf and Abdulaziz Madawi scored goals for the Kuwait Credit Bank but Artin Clagian scored the only goal for Al-Arabi team.

In the third match, players Andre from Brazil, Yousef Mulla and Abdulmohsen Bo Shuaiba from the doctorna.com team scored goals.

In the matches to be held, Kuwait Club for the Deaf will be facing Kuwait Style, Al-Nasser Club will be facing Dar Al-Mohammadiah, and Balagha team will be facing Americana team.

In the youth category, Ngoum Al-Baraem team defeated Al-Sharqteam with a score of 1-0; the goal was scored by the player Shaheen Al-Kandari. Al-Malaki team defeated Ahmad Al-Fadhli team by three goals to one. The three goals of Al-Malaki team were scored by the players Ahmad Shihab, Khalid Mubarak and Abdullah Mutawi while the goal of Ahmad Al-Fadhli team was scored by Yousef Mohammad. The match between Failaka and Semyouni teams resulted in a penalty shootout after which Failaka team won by two goals.

The fifth day of the tournament will witness three matches with Ahmadiyah facing Sadhan Academy, Al-Tadamum facing Qolaso Academy and Al-Amad facing Al-Arabi.

Adriano, a well-known Italian footballer expressed his delight in participating in the Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Roudhan Ramadan Indoor Football Tournament, as he was unable to do so last year.

He highlighted the superior performances seen at the tournament, indicating that the excitement and enthusiasm will increase with the approach of the final rounds.

Adriano had participated in a match yesterday but he was unable to score any goals. Meanwhile, Saudi sports commentator Essa Al-Harbeen arrived in Kuwait yesterday and will take over the role from the Omani commentator Khalil Al-Baloushi to start giving commentary for matches from today.
