Brotherly Dispute Escalates as Brother Accused of Damaging Home and Camera

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 22: A dispute between two brothers ended with a formal police case after a Bedoun reported that his house had been deliberately damaged, including the destruction of a surveillance camera.

According to a security source, the complainant went to Ahmadi Police Station and reported that several parts of his house had been damaged. The reported damage included the surveillance camera, the window of the diwaniya and the main entrance.

The complainant accused his brother, who is also a Bedoun, of being responsible for the damage. The incident was subsequently treated as an official report involving a family dispute and falling under the domestic violence category.

Security personnel recorded the details of the complaint and referred the matter to the relevant public prosecutor. The prosecutor directed that a case of “deliberate damage – domestic violence” be registered and referred to the appropriate investigative authority.

The investigation will determine the circumstances of the incident, establish who was responsible for the reported damage and complete the necessary legal procedures.
