Brother Investigated After Family Dispute Leaves Sibling's Eardrum Perforated

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 2: A family dispute between two brothers in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area has escalated into a criminal investigation after one brother accused the other of assault.

According to a security source, a Kuwaiti citizen filed a report stating that he was assaulted by his brother inside their family home. The complainant submitted a medical report documenting multiple injuries.

The medical report indicated redness and bruising to the right ear, scratches on the neck, and a perforated right eardrum.

Following the complaint, the Public Prosecution directed the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to investigate the incident. An assault case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the altercation.
