Brother held for stabbing sister

KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Officers assigned in Ahmadi Investigation Unit arrested a citizen for attempting to kill his sister by stabbing her with a knife, reports Al-Anba daily. Security sources revealed the citizen’s sister, born in 1978, filed a complaint at Ahmadi Police Station against her brother, born in 1997, for allegedly trying to kill her. The woman told police her brother stabbed her with a knife, resulting in a serious injury in her hand. The complainant provided police with a medical report to substantiate her claim.

Woman threatened: A Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint at Farwaniya Police Station against an unidentified person who sent her threatening messages through WhatsApp, reports Al-Anba daily . She provided police with the mobile number of the suspect who will be summoned soon for investigation.
