KUWAIT CITY, June 20: Kazma Club has strengthened its first team by signing Brazilian professional Rafael Guimaraes.

Rafael, known as "Dodo," played for Emirati club Ajman from January until the end of the last season. He also had a stint with Emirati club Khor Fakkan in July 2019, after transferring from Brazilian club Fortaleza, where he was on loan from Atletico Mineiro. "Dodo," 29, is a playmaker who has been selected for the Brazilian U-23 national team.

Kazma has also renewed the contract of Jordanian professional Ahmed Arsan for another season, following a request from head coach Muhammad Dehelis. Regarding the other professionals, Algerian Imad Eddine Ezzi is close to having his contract renewed, while Frenchman Reda Bencha and Nigerian John Teddy are not expected to return.
