ABU DHABI, Apr 5: Abu Dhabi authorities are responding to multiple fires at the Borouge petrochemicals plant after debris reportedly fell at the site following successful interceptions by air defence systems.
Operations at the facility were immediately suspended as emergency teams moved to contain the situation and assess the extent of the damage. Authorities confirmed that no injuries have been reported so far.
Officials said an update will be issued once further information becomes available, and urged the public to rely only on official sources while avoiding the spread of rumours or unverified information.
