KUWAIT CITY, April 29: Wedding hall bookings have seen a surge in demand, coinciding with the Ministry of Interior’s announcement regarding the resumption of operations at public halls for events and occasions. The Ministry of Social Affairs revealed that the number of booking requests has exceeded 1,000 for the next three months. Fayez Al-Daihani, Director of the Women, Children, and Community Development Department at the ministry, stated that preparations to receive bookings began last Sunday, with efforts made to ensure the halls are fully ready. He noted that demand has been exceptionally high since reservations opened.
Al-Daihani pointed out that more than 20 halls are available for booking through the “Munasebat” program and the Sahel application, indicating that the ministry is in the process of adding a large number of halls within the next two weeks in all governorates of Kuwait. He highlighted the coordination and cooperation with the Kuwait Fire Force to issue the necessary licenses, in addition to collaboration with relevant departments within the ministry and other government institutions.
