BMW ‘blank’ T-Mass as Al-Qaryan rout Samaraa Mill – Al-Fata down Diwaniya; Kuwait United upset A1-Jabalah

KUWAIT CITY, June 8: Matches played on the second day of late Abdullah Meshari Al-Roudan Indoor Football Tournament were fun and delightful to spectators, as team BMW squashed T-Mass 2-0 and Al-Qaryan Group beat Samaraa Aden Mill by 5-1, and Holiday Inn defeated Jahra by 4-3.

On the 4th day of Ramadan, Kuwait Credit Bank will slug it out with Al-Arabi while Al-Afour faces Doktourina and Al-Zamel Center challenges Boubyan Bank.

Al-Qaryan Group Coach Abdul-Aziz Al-Khaldi affirmed that his team is in the tournament to clinch the trophy. He added that three of his outstanding team members play for Al-Nasr, Al-Qadsiya and Al-Etifaq clubs, noting the level of experience gathered by his players from previous tournaments will be handy in subsequent matches.

He assured that his players are used to playing in competitive atmosphere in the Gulf and other Arab countries. He commended the organizers for putting up a wonderful tournament, taking into account the high standard of arrangements made for that purpose.

In the youth category, three group two games were played on the 2nd day of Ramadan in which Al-Fata Al-Dhahabi defeated Diwaniya Al-Masoud by 4-0 and Kuwait United took Al-Jabalah to cleaners by 2-0, while Al-Sulaibikhat upset Kazma with a lone goal at the last minute.
