KUWAIT CITY, March 2: The Kuwait Oil Company Basketball Committee (KOCBC), concluded its two-day basketball tournament on Friday marked by exhilarating plays from the participating teams at the KOC Sports Centre.

The White Team beat the Black Team 64-61 during the elimination round and moved on to the semifinals where the White Team showed their power and trounced on the Yellow Team in the exciting match 71-70.

In the final match the Blue Team grabbed the championship cup in the two-day tournament after trampling down the White Team with the score of 85-76.

Denver Fabillian bagged the finals MVP, averaging 23 points per game while Glenn Guerrero made 8 triples in the 3 point shootout and went home as the 3 point King in the event.

KOCBC Secretary General Frederick Makasakit congratulated all the winners and thanked all the participants for being such a good sport. Special thanks also goes to commissioner Gerald Minsalan and his spouse Shai Ilaya Minsalan as well as Mario’s Restaurant for sponsoring the two-day basketball tournament.
