LOS ANGELES, Nov 27, (Agencies): Even Blue Ivy isn’t exempt from online scrutiny. In Beyoncé’s latest concert film, she revealed that her 11-year-old daughter faced criticism for her dancing after joining her onstage during the Renaissance World Tour this summer. The “Love on Top” singer, 42, disclosed that Blue Ivy, her daughter with husband JAY-Z, read negative comments following her surprise appearance in Paris in May.

Despite initial reluctance on Beyoncé’s part for her daughter to join her onstage, Blue Ivy was determined to prove her critics wrong. The singer shared that Blue Ivy committed herself to improving her dancing skills, responding to the online negativity with resilience and hard work.

Originally, the plan was for Blue Ivy to make just one onstage appearance, a prospect that Beyoncé wasn’t entirely enthusiastic about. She expressed in the film that performing in front of thousands wasn’t an ideal setting for an 11-year-old. Beyoncé even admitted to nearly passing out the first time Blue Ivy joined her onstage.

Reflecting on the early discussions, Beyoncé recounted, “She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no.” However, fans couldn’t help but notice Blue Ivy’s growth and improvement throughout the months she toured alongside her pop star mom. In September, a TikTok compilation highlighted the contrast between her initial timid performance and her later confident moves in Houston.

Commenting on the video, one user noted, “Seeing her confidence grow throughout this tour has been such a treat,” while another fan expressed pride, saying, “Watching her confidence grow throughout the tour has made me so proud! She’s improved so much.”
