ABU DHABI, May 14: As Abu Dhabi accelerates its transformation into a global model for sustainable urban development, Bloom Holding is positioning itself at the forefront of the emirate’s future growth ambitions through the creation of integrated, human-centric communities.

In an exclusive interview with Arab Times, Carlos Wakim, CEO of Bloom Holding, said the company’s long-term vision is closely aligned with Abu Dhabi’s strategy of building future-ready cities that combine infrastructure, sustainability, and quality of life.

“Abu Dhabi’s long-term growth strategy is increasingly focused on creating future-ready, liveable cities that combine infrastructure, quality of life, and sustainable economic growth,” Wakim said. “At Bloom Holding, our vision is closely aligned with this direction through the development of integrated, human-centric communities that are designed around how people live today and how cities will evolve in the future.”

Wakim noted that the real estate sector is witnessing a clear shift toward mixed-use communities that seamlessly integrate residential, education, wellness, retail, hospitality, and essential community services within a connected environment.

“This is the foundation of our Curated Community Living approach and is reflected in developments such as Bloom Living and Al Metlaa,” he said.

According to Wakim, Bloom Holding’s focus extends beyond simply delivering real estate projects.

“We are committed to creating environments that enhance the standard of life for residents, support long-term value for investors, and contribute meaningfully to Abu Dhabi’s broader urban development agenda,” he explained. “We see ourselves as long-term contributors to the emirate’s vision for more connected, resilient, and future-ready communities.”

Discussing what distinguishes Bloom Holding from other developers in the region, Wakim emphasized the company’s commitment to “Curated Community Living,” which he described as a holistic approach to community development.

“We do not approach development as the delivery of standalone projects, but as the creation of integrated environments that support every aspect of daily life,” he said.

He explained that Bloom Holding’s developments combine residential, educational, hospitality, wellness, retail, landscaping, facilities management, and community services into a unified ecosystem aimed at enhancing convenience, wellbeing, and community interaction.

“This allows us to create destinations that are not only functional and high-quality, but also connected, liveable, and designed for long-term relevance,” Wakim added.

He further noted that buyer expectations across the UAE have evolved significantly in recent years, with residents placing greater emphasis on lifestyle, convenience, and overall quality of life rather than simply purchasing a home.

“People are looking beyond the home itself and placing greater importance on convenience, wellbeing, community interaction, and overall quality of life,” he said. “Bloom Living is a strong example of this philosophy, designed as a fully integrated destination where people can truly live, connect, and thrive.”

Wakim also highlighted the company’s long-term operational commitment as a key differentiator.

“Our role does not end at handover; we remain focused on operational quality, service delivery, and maintaining long-term community value,” he said. “Our goal is to create communities that enhance the standard of life for residents while delivering lasting value for investors alike.”
