KUWAIT CITY, March 30: The Criminal Court sentenced Fadel Al-Dabbous to one year in prison with hard labor for disseminating false information through his account on the X platform, based on a complaint filed by the State Security Unit at the Ministry of Interior. The court also ordered the suspension of the defendant’s account on the platform due to allegations that he published information deemed harmful to public interest and incitement of unrest. Security authorities took measures after monitoring the published content and referred the defendant to the Public Prosecution, which conducted the investigation and then referred him to the Criminal Court.
