Bishop Aldo Berardi, Catholic Bishop of Northern Arabia
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: Bishop Aldo Berardi, Catholic Bishop of Northern Arabia (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia), extended his warmest congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on the second anniversary of his accession to power, and wished him continued health, wisdom, and success in leading the nation and serving the Kuwaiti people.
He gave this message during a speech at the Christmas celebration held at the Holy Family Co-Cathedral Parish in Kuwait City. On behalf of the bishops and priests of the various churches and rites in the country, and on behalf of all the faithful, Bishop Berardi expressed sincere prayers for His Highness the Amir to continue guiding Kuwait on its path of progress and prosperity. He also extended his congratulations to His Highness the Crown Prince, the members of the esteemed ruling family, and the respected members of the government, highlighting the atmosphere of respect, coexistence, and harmony that prevails among all segments of Kuwaiti society.

Bishop Berardi welcomed the official attendees, led by Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters Dr. Mohammed Al-Jassar, and expressed his appreciation for their participation and for honoring the event. He conveyed his gratitude to the religious leaders, ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps, the citizens of Kuwait, and all the faithful from various parishes. He also praised the diverse church choirs for their contributions to the success of the celebration, making it a true reflection of the Christmas message of peace, love, and brotherhood. Bishop Berardi concluded with a prayer that the joy and peace of Christmas would prevail in Kuwait and that the bonds of brotherhood between the churches and all the people of the nation would be strengthened, saying, “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
