Bid to smuggle drugs foiled

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 22:Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport recently foiled the attempt of an unidentified Kuwaiti to smuggle hashish and narcotic pills into the country, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the man came from Cairo. The hashish and the pills were hidden in one of the bags. During interrogation, the Kuwaiti said it was for his personal use. However, he has been handed over to the General Department of Drugs Control.
