Bid to sack 600 workers

KUWAIT CITY, March 11: In line with the replacement policy of CSC, Ministry of Education has adopted a five-year plan to terminate the services of some 600 service providers hired on special contracts, reports Al-Rai daily. An educational source affirmed the continuation of its replacement policy, noting the plan for fiscal year 2019-2020 covers some teaching staff, a limited number of engineers, accountants, legal personnel, and researchers in social and psychological services sector.
