KUWAIT CITY, July 8 : Minister of Public Works and State Minister for Housing Affairs Dr Rana Al-Fares on Monday formed a committee tasked to prepare a program for supporting national employees in contracts and consultative agreements concluded by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) with the aim of increasing employment opportunities for citizens who have proven their worth on all levels. Al-Fares clarified with Al-Rai “this stems from our belief in supporting national workers and complete what we started in the Kuwaitization plan.”

Meanwhile, the Procurement Department in the Financial Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Health has announced that priority is given to activities whose value ranges from one Kuwait dinar to less than KD75,000 for owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), reports Al-Jarida daily.

The department advised the owners of SMEs registered with the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Development to register on the ministry’s website, follow up the announcement of activities on the Official Gazette (Kuwait Al-Youm) or the social media accounts of the ministry.
