Bid to break ATM in Ardhiya

KUWAIT CITY, April 7: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Farwaniya branch, are looking for an unidentified person who allegedly attempted to break into a local bank ATM in one of the complexes in Ardhiya, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily added, the CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity of the complex has taken the pictures of the suspect, but the authorities say it is difficult to know the features or the age of the suspect because the man is wearing a mask.

However, personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have taken fingerprints from the area. The suspect allegedly managed to destroy the front part of the ATM but could not get to the cash.

According to a security source, the alarm system connected to the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior went off and securitymen immediately rushed to the spot but failed to find the suspect
