Beware of fake traffic fine notices: Kuwait MoI

Kuwait Ministry of Interior warns public against fake messages, websites.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has warned the public against fake messages and fraudulent websites impersonating the ministry and claiming to collect traffic fines.

In a statement, the ministry denied the authenticity of messages circulating on some social media platforms that attribute notices to the Ministry of Interior and threaten additional financial penalties if alleged fines are not paid within a specified period.

The ministry stressed that individuals must not deal with such messages, should avoid clicking on any suspicious links, and must not share personal or banking information with any unofficial party.
