Belhaj joins Kuwait camp in Manama

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: Tunisian professional Khaled Belhaj joined the camp of Al-Kuwait Club team in the Bahraini capital, Manama, through which “Al-Abyad” is preparing to participate in the Handball Club World Cup “Saudi Super Globe 2023”, which will be held in the city of Dammam from November 5-12. The 21st Asian Club Championship, which will be held in Kuwait from the 14th to the 25th of the same month, and Al-Ameed signed Al-Hajj on loan from Al-Ahly of Qatar. Khaled Belhaj, a talented player, became the fourth professional on the team’s roster, joining Brazilian pro Vinicius and the Kuwait professionals for the current season:

Qatari Frankis Marzo and Portuguese Angel Hernandez. In the Super Globe draw, Kuwait have been placed in the second group alongside Argentinian clubs San Fernando and German teams. Meanwhile, Kefan Sons will compete in the Asian Club Championship’s first group, alongside defending champions Bahraini star Al-Gharafa, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Khaleej, and Palestine’s Al-Salah, as well as the Indian Golden Eagle.

The team recently welcomed back key players, including Saif Al-Adwani, Abdullah Al-Gharabally, and Fawaz Al-Shammari after their recovery, while Mohamed Amer, who is expected to return to training in January, remained on the roster. The camp will continue until the 5th of this month, marking their departure for Dammam.

The delegation is led by Game Director Sameh Al-Hajri and includes Technical Director Haitham Al-Rashidi, Brazilian Assistant Thiago Oliveira, Brazilian Physical Trainer Luis, Goalkeeping Coach Ali Al-Khader, and Dr. Yassin Booker. The team comprises 20 players, including Portuguese professional Angel Hernandez, Tunisian Khaled Belhaj, Brazilian Vinicius, and Qatari Frankis Marzo.
