KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: A Bedoun man in his 30s has been detained and charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a Kuwaiti citizen during a dispute over parking priority at a shopping mall in Al-Jahra Governorate. The Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report of a fight in a parking lot, prompting security personnel to respond and find the young Kuwaiti victim with a stab wound to his hand. He was taken to Al-Jahra Hospital, where he received treatment and was reported to be in stable condition. The suspect was arrested at the scene and allegedly confessed to arguing with the victim over who had the right of way. Investigators are also questioning him about why he was carrying a knife in his vehicle and whether he has any possible links to robbery cases.
