KUWAIT CITY, Jul 25: Kuwait’s General Traffic Department has announced the closure of the right and middle lanes of the Maghreb Expressway for motorists traveling from Kuwait City toward Ahmadi.
The closures will also include the First Ring Road exit leading to Maghreb Road and the Maghreb Road exit toward the Second Ring Road.
The traffic restrictions will begin on Sunday, July 26, 2026, and will remain in place for one month, the department said.
Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes and follow traffic instructions to avoid delays during the closure period.
